Schedule of Events

Friday, June 24th
2:00 Arrive at the Super 8, or wherever you are staying. Swim at the local public pool, hang out at the park or hotel, rest, relax and visit.
6:00 Somewhere between 6:00 and 8:00 we will go to Starters on Main Street. They have pizza and appetizer type food if we want to eat there together. They are going to have a dance for us at 9:00. They have a bowling alley so the kids can bowl. Saturday, June 25th
10:00 to 11:30 ***Arrive at the Armory
***Pick up and pay for your t-shirt, if you ordered one.
***Get your- Get Acquainted Peas
***Sign in at the Guest Book/ Get your nametag.
***View the 100 Years of Memories Books that Darrel and Melody are making. (I have not received as many memories as I had hoped for, so please send more. The memories I have received are great, thank you! Also, there will be room to add your memories in the book once you get there, so please do so!!)
***Post your family pictures. There will be a bulletin board for each of Grandma Dolly's Children. Please bring family photos to pin up for the day. I will also have extra bulletin boards for cousins of Grandma Dolly's kids and other relatives.
***There will be pins of various colors so each family can put a pin in a map to show where you live.
12:00 Lunch This will be potluck I believe Dardy and Dee Dee are bringing plates, napkins, cups and plastic ware. There is a kitchen in the Armory.
1:00 Getting Acquainted Games
1:30 100 Items Auction: Auctioneers: Skip Kahle and Skip Bull (Please bring something to auction off. Ideas include something from your state, lawn chairs, pop, homemade goodies, and family heirlooms… The money will be used to pay for the armory and other costs.
2:00 Kids will have their choice of swimming at the pool, fishing, playing at the park. Adults will have a chance to visit, play cards, or play board games.
3:00 Treasure Hunt for the Kids: All adults are asked to throw their spare pocket change into the pool for the kids to dive for.
5:30 Supper Pot Luck leftovers from lunch at the Armory. 6:30 Family Games Relay Races, Gunny Sack Races, Fear Factor, beach ball volleyball or wheel chair soft ball… (Does anyone have an old wheel chair?)
8:00 Camp Fire at the park. Visit from the cops for having a fire, being too loud and obnoxious… S-mores, Sing-a-long with Marvel's guitar, surprise visit from the Pointer Sisters, (Any other talents in the family are welcome.) Or, we can sit in the Armory and visit.
Reunion ends Saturday night whenever you get tired! I thought we could get together to share photos on Sunday, but I'm not sure there is a one-hour photo place anywhere in Redfield. We can get together at the park on Sunday if anyone is interested in grilling or something.
Things to bring:
Potluck, beverages, coins for the treasure hunt, an item for the auction, family pictures to post for the day, swimming suit, towel, fishing pole, fun attitude, sunscreen, camera, extra batteries for your camera, deck of cards, board games…
